Anonymous asked: when sketching tattoos why do most artists use a blue and red pencil/pen? Just curious! :)
Can’t answer for all artists but i know I lay down a lighter coloured pencil first as a guide and then use darker ones as I clean up and detail the image.. means you can sketch over the top of the same design more than a couple times..
